Preston, our pet fish

Yes. Preston is a fish.  We got him in Henry, Illinois and I’ll be honest I didn’t give him that long of a survival time living on the back of a bike.  But one thing is for sure, Preston is one tough fish.  He sloshed around on the back of David’s bike for 8 weeks and survived a couple of long stints out of water in some pretty hot places for some reasonably long times….not actually sure how he survived.  But in the end, Preston the pet fish made it to Anacortes with the rest of us.  He would have dipped his fins in the Pacific but we think salt water might have done what the hot cement didn’t that fateful day in Clark, SD.  Now Preston lives in David’s apartment after he got him on the plane by putting him…..
